I've worked at the intersection of public systems and community for over a decade. My doctoral training in prevention science uniquely prepared me to use my personal lived experience to co-design, implement, and evaluate culturally-responsive programs that truly meet the needs of the community.

Why OORU Collective Care
Ooru in Telugu, my native language, means village. A search for my 'village', my community of compassionate care...has been at the root of my personal healing journey.

OORU Collective Care is a continuation of the work I have been doing throughout my life, personally and professionally. I am ready to co-create the kind of community so many of us have been seeking for as long as we can remember.
I envision a community where power is built through healing presence. A presence that says ”we see our pain, we’ll hold it together, and we’re ready to create what we deserve”.
